NCASD Member Elizabeth Diessner won the 2024 Edward K.C. Lee Award, one of the top awards given in the UCI Chemistry Department, for her outstanding research accomplishments. This award is usually given to students who “were either unusually productive (e.g., they published a number of first-author papers) or did research resulting in significant scientific breakthroughs for their groups”.
